“ The diplomat has been around for a long time and we used to eat there all hours of the day and night. They’ve been in their new location for a number of years and it is a main stay in Fredericton. We just learned a very important way of ordering. Instead of getting the buffet order the meal for two and you’ll have more food that will last you for two or three more meals aside from the dining out experience. . Matter of fact, the server suggested that the meal for two would serve all four of us and he was right. We could’ve just supplemented with a couple of eggrolls in addition as per his suggestion. ”

“ Restaurant was in walking distance from where we were staying for the night (Delta, Fredericton). They offer AYCE or a la carte menu. We opted for the a la carte menu and chose the 2 can dine. Be prepared for all the food because it was a lot and it tasted good. There was still room for dessert, and we got an oreo cheesecake. ”
“ I often used to frequent the diplomat prior to the pandemic for their Delmonico Ribeye, which was the absolute best steak I'd ever eaten in my life. I was devastated when it was no longer on the menu... However today I went to the diplomat for a different reason and they went above and beyond with the quality and service. I'm very sick and hot and sour soup is basically magic in a bowl when it comes to feeling better. I called every Asian restaurant in the city and finally found that the Diplomat had it!! A giant liter of soup for 10 dollars plus taxes. I wore a mask and gloves to pick it up and they were so kind and quick with the service, telling me they hoped I feel better soon. The first bite had me instantly feeling better and I won't be going anywhere else for soup when I'm sick now! ”
“ On our first day in Fredericton, my wife and I were invited for a brunch at the Diplomat and we couldn't have asked for a better welcoming present! The breakfast is simply delicious! All staff members were great at their jobs, treated us wonderfully and the prices were fair. It's not a mystery why this is a classic and traditional place in Fredericton. We recommend it to everyone!!! ”
